You should choose proper elements for the landscaping portion of the project, such as features like a waterfall, some rockwork, or perhaps lighting and a fountain. The design ideals basically depend on your own personal taste, all that must be remembered is to ensure adequate sunlight, and to not overwhelm a single space. With water gardening you must think carefully about several issues, including that of when choosing aquatic plants. There is also something called 'container water gardening', which consists of the same ideals as water gardening, only - quite appropriately - inside a container. This is for someone who perhaps does not want to immediately take on the task of a larger water garden, but still wants the same effect of beauty and calm.
